He learned the art and science of qualitative and quantitative research from nationally-known pollsters Mark Mellman and Celinda Lake at Mellman-Lazarus-Lake (now The Mellman Group) and Lake Research (now Lake Research Partners). Dana has taken graduate coursework at the Joint Program in Survey Methodology (JPSM) at the University of Maryland.  He trained as a focus group moderator at RIVA Market Research in Bethesda, Maryland.  Dana serves as an at-large member of the Board of Directors of the New England Marketing Research Association.
